Mom's Library (#9)

Remember how I was hoping last week that things would soon get better?  Well, it didn't. It was a very expensive week.  I guess that's what I get for being optimistic.  At least I had all your great ideas to look through to help cheer me up.   You know what else cheers me up?  Comments.  :)

from Fantastic Fun and Learning: Exploring Marshmallows with the Five Senses.  My boys would love this science unit.  Tasty! :)

from Mums make lists: Counting Birds in the Garden.  I never thought to just look out the window and make a graph.  Click over to learn more about their bird watching.

from Stacy Sews and Schools: Coral Reef Unit.  Stacy has listed a bunch of resource ideas to use while studying coral reefs - great if you are in the middle of studying habitats, like we are.

from Relentlessly Fun, Deceptively Educational: Viking Shields.  I thought these were great.  My boys (especially the 3 year old) love shields.  I'm trying to get them to not see this picture now as I type because then Nathan would just bug me and bug me for a shield.  sigh.  Too late.
